President & Founder Tango PR

Jorge Hernández was born in Mexico and raised in Austin, TX. Higher education brought him to Oklahoma to study Human Relations at Southern Nazarene University. Prior to founding Tango PR in 2006, he proudly served as a community advocate, creating programs for the Latino Community Development Agency and events such as “Fiestas de las Americas.” He sits on the Board of the Oklahoma Red Cross and is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City’s Leadership Class XIX. He was recognized with the “40 Under 40” award from OKC Business magazine in 2007. And has received countless awards and recognitions for his continuous work in building bridges between some of the biggest companies and the Hispanic Community in Oklahoma City.

Co-Founder & Community Relations Tango PR

Brenda Hernández was born in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a Multidisciplinary Bachelor of Science degree concentrating in the areas of Business, Mass Communications, and Spanish. Her and her husband Jorge Hernandez are also owners of Tango PR, a public relations agency in Oklahoma City dedicated to creating marketing solutions relevant to today’s growing Hispanic Market. Her passion is serving her community, she does this through various organizations such as the YWCA of Oklahoma City, the American Red Cross of Western Oklahoma, Historic Capitol Hill-Fiestas de Las Americas, among others; Brenda currently serves on the Southern Nazarene University Board of Trustees and on the Board of the YWCA of Oklahoma City.

Graphic Design

Omar Zamudio was born in Chihuahua, México. He has lived for the last 16 years in Oklahoma where he studied Graphic Design at the Oklahoma City Community College. With a passion for detail and creative drive, he developed his talents in Graphic Design while working in Television and doing freelance work for different companies and magazines. He has been part of the Tango Public Relations team while continuing to create and learn more about the latest design programs and tendencies.

Copywriter & Public Relations

Marisol Huckaby was born in Mexico City where she graduated with a BA in Communication Sciences concentrating in Media and Public Relations; as well as studies in radio broadcasting by the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. In Mexico, she worked in Television creating TV scripts, production, creative support and hosting; her expertise in PR came from working in advertising, communications and public relations for a variety of brands and agencies. Currently, she is living in Oklahoma where she continues developing her skills as part of the Tango Public Relations team.
